This  Generation

Martin Cecil   December 26, 1962

I have emphasized the fact before that the change must come in one generation. It could be, presumably, any generation, as long as human beings exist on earth. If they leave it too long, of course, there will not be any generations left. But it must come in one generation, though human beings have a comfortable idea that somehow or other the next generation may be more successful. That which has to be experienced is what has been defined as a change of polarity. Fallen human beings are polarized with respect to the mass consciousness of humanity; Divine Man is polarized in Divine consciousness. If we take just one person and consider this changeover, we recognize that there must be a transition. Everyone starts off with the wrong polarity. There must be movement through a period of experience to right polarity. It is not something that is done instantly; but unless it is done in that person while he lives, it is not done. Isn't that right? After he is dead there is no more chance for that person.

As we multiply one person by whatever number is required—say 144,000—then it must happen to those 144,000 individuals during the course of their life; otherwise it does not happen. If the attitude is taken, “Well we'll do it just so far; we couldn't possibly go all the way; but our children will then carry on from there,” we delude ourselves, because the children only receive a blessing if the generation who are the parents carry through. Otherwise they are left betwixt and between; they are neither one thing nor the other. They do not have the evidence made manifest of the Divine State and they do not have the experience, to the same degree, of the fallen state. There is perhaps a tendency to consequently take things for granted and to lack appreciation for that which is, to the extent that it is. They have not been through the harsh—I was going to say reality; it should be unreality—of the fallen state, and they have not been offered the experience of the Divine State, if those of the previous generation have not carried through.

It must be done in one generation, because if the generation who were in the process of carrying through do not, then the children, or succeeding generation, have to start all over again. The idea that the hope is in the children is nonsense. The idea that the succeeding generation offers the hope is foolishness. It is the generation that is here now that offers the hope. It is now that is the appointed time. It is the only time we have. If in one generation there are those who do carry through, and there are children associated with that generation, then that is a different matter, because they have the manifest experience of the Divine State at that point, and they know what it is then. But if it has not been made manifest they do not know what it is, and they will find that they have to go down into Egypt again and come clear all over again—if they are going to do it, that is. There has always been a block with respect to the fulfilment of the Divine Plan, and that block has been just one generation—never any more, just one generation. We can take the attitude, “Well we'll do our best. We'll go as far as we can,” but it will not get the job done, and another generation—if one is on hand—will have to start all over again.

You have been through some experience to bring you to this point, to enable you to emerge from the fallen state to the extent that you have. It has been quite a journey, hasn't it, to bring you to this point. You have had many experiences, passed through many things. You have known clearings of various sorts. All that has been put into you, so to speak—this is the Lord's investment in you. We cannot bequeath it to someone else, can we? It is something that happened to us, not to anyone else. We cannot just take it out of ourselves and put it in our children. If they are going to share it they must experience it too. There isn't anything vicarious in this process; we have to know it for ourselves, and therefore we must come all the way through if our lives are to have the meaning which is the Divine Purpose. If we do not come all the way through we fall short. That is what is called sin, by the way—falling short of the mark. If there is a falling short it is so much waste, isn't it? There has been development, and development working out through us—we just didn't make it. Well if we didn't make it we didn't make it, and what might have been on the basis of our restoration was not experienced—gone—and all that went into our lives to make it possible for us to experience the restoration is wasted because we are gone.

This is something that must work out in one generation; otherwise it doesn't. It will not evolve there, because it is not a matter of evolving through human self-activity. Human beings have been doing that, but that never achieves the goal, never gets anywhere except to ultimate annihilation. It is something new. Our Master Himself revealed this when He came. He let it be done in thirty years—one generation insofar as He was concerned. So He revealed that it could be done in one generation. He also, incidentally, revealed that it must be done in one generation, although that has not been so clearly seen. Look at all the generations we have had since, and still it is not done insofar as human beings generally are concerned, because there has not been a recognition of this one fundamental principle.

It is not a matter of evolving in human self-activity so that we become better self-active human beings. That is not the goal at all. The goal is to become Divine Beings, and we cannot become Divine Beings as long as we remain self-active. It is a matter of moving through the transition from the control of the devil to the control of God, and when God controls, when the Divine consciousness is accepted, then the Divine State can begin to appear as a result. As long as the devil controls, then the fallen state must appear as a result. No matter how much progress may be made in self-activity, the fallen state must remain; conflicts will continue until the final conflict, somewhere along the way.

The statement was made by our Master to the effect that except the days should be shortened no flesh should be saved. Now that has generally been translated to mean that there was going to be such an appalling state of destructiveness on earth that unless that were curtailed everybody would destroy everybody else; so this period of awful destructiveness, when human beings were in such tribulation, would have to be shortened so that somebody survived. Well there might be some application in that sense, but we may also see that the days must be shortened in the sense of one generation. Unless the days are shortened in that sense, no flesh shall be saved; unless the change, the transition, the restoration, comes with respect to an adequate body of human beings in one generation—wherever that generation may be—no flesh shall be saved, because there isn't any other way by which flesh may be saved.

It is the acceptance of the Divine control, in actual fact, of a sufficient number of responding ones which allows the Divine control to begin to manifest as a reality on earth—something which human beings have not experienced. They do not know what it would be. They have no idea that such a thing is even possible, for the most part. They certainly have no comprehension of what would happen if Divine action began to appear on earth because there was a form through which it could appear. There simply has not been such a form, except here and there on an individual basis, since man fell; so human beings have no awareness of what it would be, and the results which would be the natural result, the natural consequence of the Divine control working, are therefore considered as being fantastic. From the standpoint of human self-activity such results could never appear in a million years, but from the standpoint of Divine activity they could appear in one generation. But there could be no Divine activity in this sense, no transfer of the Divine control, until there are those who are willing to accept it. Because there have been no adequate instruments of such acceptance, there has been no experience of what the consequences would be.

If we are letting our lives be dedicated to this Divine purpose of the restoration, we must experience it within ourselves first. It is not as though we could say, “Well we have a vision of this—the restoration, the goal. We see how wonderful it would be. God's power is adequate; we believe that; therefore somehow or other, because we have this vision and understanding, it is all going to work out successfully.” It is not. If it works out successfully it has to work out through someone, and if our dedication is genuine, we are saying, “It must work out through us.” And in that actual experience the reality begins to be known: Divine activity, the power of God manifesting on earth to make possible that which naturally appears in consequence. We do not have to concern ourselves with that which is to appear. That takes care of itself. All we have to concern ourselves with is letting the experience be known to us under the dominion of God.

Because man has been functioning in the fallen state there has been no available instrument for the Divine use; the power of God has been entirely excluded in the truly creative sense, but such as has been able to appear has had to appear through the fallen consciousness of human beings. The life force that is moving through people—that is, the power of God—is under the control of the fallen consciousness of human beings, and consequently it has kept everything in a turmoil. The very moment there begins to be something which is under God's control the power of God can begin to move through that in a creative sense—there begins to be a shift, and we are here to share in letting that shift take place actually. But unless we ourselves experience what it means to be under the dominion of God, unless we ourselves begin to discover, and consequently experience, what it means to function on the basis of Divine consciousness, we cannot share in that which needs to be done. Shall that which has been experienced through us and through others over these past years, bringing us all to this point, be allowed to go for nothing?

It is not just a matter of the number of years a person may have been associated with this Ministry in the conscious sense—it is the number of years a person has been on earth moving toward this point of conscious recognition of these things, for all experiences have been used. Each one of you has come through cycles which are distinct and individual to you, and all these things have brought you together here—not only you who are here present tonight but all who are here in our Ministry in actual fact—to this hour. How much investment the Lord has in us, then, investment which can either come to fruition or be written off. The Lord is pretty accustomed to writing it off. It might be a change for Him if it was allowed to come to fruition, if there was an actual willingness to carry through to the point of fulfilment; not personal fulfilment in the sense of something which the individual thinks would be pleasing to himself, but fulfilment in the sense of being absolutely under the dominion of the spirit of God, whatever might occur thereafter. To what extent is that true of you now? How free are we? How much dominion does the truth have in us actually? All of you know that it should be so, all of you feel that you are dedicated to this purpose; but does it go beyond the theory, really? Sometimes a human being will have something in mind that he would like to do, and if that is suggested, “Oh yes! I'll go right into it! Wonderful!” but if it is something else that he had not considered as being too desirable, and it meant that he was not moving into what he wanted to move into, what then? Is it what we ourselves personally want to do that is important? Or is the need in the Ministry of the Lord important? What needs to be done? That is the important thing. Whether we want to do it or not is beside the point, and if we have such wants anymore it is obvious that we are not yet sufficiently under the control of the Divine consciousness.

We are here to fill the needs of the moment. We are not in the Divine state in the external sense—of course not, because there has been no cause for it to be here yet. We have to establish the cause first, and thereafter the Divine Estate will appear and that no doubt will be wonderful. But in the meantime it is not here and we have to function on the basis of the things that are here, filling the needs that are here without question as to whether it is personally pleasing or not. “Is this the thing that is needed in the Lord's ministry, in the fulfilment of the Divine purposes?”—that is the question. And it is in the filling of the needs in the Lord's service, no matter what they are, that we find our joy. That is where the joy is. The joy is not in doing what we like to do, but in doing that which is needful in the fulfilment of the Divine purposes. And when we begin to do that consistently we begin to find the secret of joy.

Our Master said that He would give His joy, didn't He? And what was His joy? To do the will of Him that sent Him; to do what was necessary in the fulfilment of the Divine purposes, even if, as it worked out, it was necessary for Him to go through what He did. It is in that that we find true joy, because we begin to find ourselves under the dominion of God, we begin to find ourselves participating in the instrument for Divine activity, so that the power of God may work creatively on earth to bring forth fruit—Divine fruit. It will not restore the world to the Divine state in a moment. How many years do you think it might take? We will not question that; but the very moment that the power of God begins to work creatively on earth because there is a means for its manifestation, the issue begins to be forced, and consequently the days are shortened.

The answer comes quickly. Human beings are forced to make their choices. In one generation the restoration can become a reality; not in the sense of its final manifestation necessarily, but the restoration nevertheless, because the cause is established. How long it will take for that to work itself out so as to cover the earth is something which need not particularly concern us. Our concern is to let the cause be established, because we know that when it is there the results are sure, in the cycles and the seasons of the Lord. And the cause is established as we ourselves have the experience—in no other way. Only as we ourselves know what it means to be under the dominion of God in the expression of our lives do we share in allowing any creative expression of God's power. Thinking about it, theorizing about it, imagining things, accomplishes nothing; it is only when it is done that the fulfilment comes.

Our Master spoke some words when He was hanging on the cross. He said, “It is finished.” It was done insofar as He was concerned; and the fulfilment came, didn't it, for Him. We need to be able to say, “It is finished.” There is no adequate group of human beings in any generation since the fall of man that has been in position to say that—a lot of things left undone, half done. Well here we are in the world as it is. Can it be said of our generation—there is quite a scope to a generation—shall it be said of our generation that they finished the work which had been given them to do? When that can be said the restoration will be a reality, the cause will have been established, and the results will appear.

Service  In  The  Temple  Of  Light

David Barnes   March-May 2021   Salmon Arm, BC

First, we should acknowledge together, and thank the LORD for the wonders that have been made manifest in our lives over the years, each one of us, and the wonders that are yet to come. Right at the beginning, I want to say a few words about how this new monthly Temple of Light service pattern opened up, as it came through Bill and Linda Bahan, Anne Blaney and me in more recent days. We acknowledge and clearly recognize that it is emerging and being born through all of you, and many others as well. We do not open up such things in isolation. They emerge through the whole, through many Angels in expression on earth at this time. This morning I was reflecting on a passage from the Gospel of John. The Master Jesus—the Master of the Temple of Love—had this to say: “Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.” The word Son relates to the formation of the Temple of Light, and the hour has come to initiate a new cycle that complements the fine work that is being done by many people, coming alive with new energy, new spirit and new substance in this day. In this initiation, the Son may glorify the Father and prepare the way for the Mother.

We have a life span in which to give ourselves to this vibrational formation which has been developing. If we do it right, when our incarnation is complete we pass it on to another generation of Angels who have come into Temple service with us, prepared to carry it on after we are finished and we leave. This is a large project, the restoration of the consciousness mankind, and the formation of the Temple of Light, which rightly should enfold within its sphere of influence every human being who yields to that; and it also includes the whole earth and all of creation. We are in the midst of a vast re-creation project, and process of refocalization.

Recently a certain amount of emphasis has been placed on an awareness of the spiritual presence of Melchizedek, Priest of the Most High God, and the Melchizedek influence that is known in these days, as we bring our substance and our contributions toward the building and the shining in the Temple of Light in this era. Not long ago, Yujin Pak spoke of these things in a service in Seoul, South Korea. What a privilege and a great responsibility, to recognize that Melchizedek came four thousand years ago and reminded Abraham of his work and his commission in initiating the cycle of the restoration of the Temple of Light in the earth; and Moses carried it forward with the formation of the Tabernacle, the Ark, the Priesthood and the Twelve Tribes; and Melchizedek came again, this time in the form of the Master Jesus, born as a human being, to live the life of a man on earth, calling others to remembrance and awakening, and setting in motion a cycle that would absolutely, firmly establish the restoration of the Melchizedek Priesthood, the Tribes of the earth in oneness, and all creation as part of the glory of the shining of the Temple of Light. More recently Uranda incarnated to carry forward this work, to open up the cycle in this Age. We find, right from the beginning, that he emphasized the reality of the Temple of Light. All of us were introduced long ago to Uranda’s writing, Seven Steps To The Temple Of Light, which we have opened many times I am sure. But now we find ourselves walking those Seven Steps in reality every day, opening the Way for others, even as he opened essential doors for us—and as the Master Jesus opened the Seven Seals in a complete sense for all who would walk in the Way of the Master on earth. We acknowledge the Angels and the Archangels who came before us and very clearly opened the Way to the Temple of Light.

Here are some words by Uranda, speaking about Melchizedek, Priest of the Most High God, KING of Salem, KING of Peace. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2020/09/melchizedekking-of-salem.html] Addressing the 1953 Class, and speaking to us right now, he said: “Your function here in this School has for its purpose the basic initiation into the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek. There can be no true manifestation of spiritual power except on the basis of the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek. This is the keynote, the key point, in relationship to the outworking of the whole Divine Plan and Pattern. And those who would share in the fulfilment of that Divine Purpose on earth must, to some degree at least, begin to share the reality of the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek… It is necessary that we enter the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek—not only to speak the Word of the Lord but to do the works of the Lord, to work out the Divine Pattern on earth, to live the reality... And it is only as this reality of Priesthood is made manifest that we can have the manifestation of power necessary to the accomplishment of the Divine Purpose on earth.”

We here know that long ago we participated in that basic initiation, and we have moved along the Path leading onward from that point—we and many others, not just we few here—but we may clearly acknowledge that the initiation took place for us way, way back. And here we are now as Angels, friends together with a responsibility that is in accord with the Word, the Creative Command, “Let US remake man, mankind, and all creation.” Let US as Angels, as a collective, working together with the Archangelic focalizations who are centered in the LORD of Lords—let US play our part, letting it come to focus from the lowest to the highest vibration in the Heaven, according to what each one of us is called to do in our work and our service together. In order to lay the foundation clearly, I want to say a few things right the start of this new cycle, represented by the initiation of this new monthly Temple of Light service pattern.

Throughout the past few years, many of us have become more keenly aware of the opportunities available to let intensified and rhythmic currents of radiation flow through our own body temples, into the living earth itself, and into the world body of humanity that is showing so many manifestations of sickness. When thinking about these things this morning, it took me back to late 1987 and early 1988, that time when Martin Exeter was completing his incarnation; and all of us were aware that something unprecedented in experience was taking place in his body—and then he left. That was thirty-three years ago this year. Thirty-three years is the length of time that the Master lived on earth in the body of Jesus—preparing Himself to begin His public ministry and complete His incarnation, and finish the work that He came on earth to accomplish. It is written in the Book of Acts that after the crucifixion He continued with the disciples for forty days, “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.”

I have often thought, over this past year, of these thirty-three years that have passed since Martin left, as symbolizing thirty-three of those forty days when the Master remained close with His disciples—a period where Martin’s spirit has lingered close with us, and has been felt by us, speaking silently and heard by us in the sanctuary of the Temple of our own hearts and minds and bodies—speaking of things pertaining to the Kingdom of God in this day, and preparing a body of people who would assemble in the forming Temple of Light and serve in Angelic maturity. All of us have been involved in that unfolding pattern of listening, and hearing what it is that the Lord has been speaking over the past thirty-three years. We have been diligent about our generations, being prepared for a day when once again there could be drawn together an assembly of disciples and ministers, prophets and priests, male and female, in the Upper Room of the Temple, letting an outpouring of the Spirit occur through us in waves of radiance, and return, so that the LORD might have a vehicle, a Temple Body on earth through which to release His radiance. We discover, as we find union in the Temple, that this is our own Angelic radiance, one with His Almighty radiance.

Some of Martin’s last words to us were, “The light of the body is in the eye. If thine eye be single thy whole body shall be filled with light.” “Let your light so shine.” The Word of the Lord to those who are invited to participate in the formation and serve in the Temple, is: “If thine eye be single thy whole collective Temple Body shall be filled with light—shall be a Temple of Light composed of many Angels incarnate and in expression”—many human beings in spiritual expression together. Laura Fisher wrote me a note this morning; she said, “It is my pleasure to be with you as you prepare for service this morning. The times I was with Martin's household on Sunday mornings before service, there was a silence that rang like universal Toning! It was deafening and all consuming!” The Lord is in his holy temple—let all the earth keep silence before Him.

Here we are gathered today, some of the people who worked and served with Martin; some of those who, over these intervening years, have come to know him as he was and is, and have come to know the LORD because of him. And so right now, in March 2021, it is keenly felt that there is a need to begin a new pattern of service that is designed to facilitate the generation of a very unique quality of refined pneumaplasm. This will happen—it is a Divine promise—when everyone gathered together in one accord in one place is sustaining an atmosphere that allows an outpouring of spirit that is natural to each specific service period. This is an opportunity to bring our love and thanksgiving to the focus of spirit for this Seven-Plane World, the LORD of Lords, and provide Him with a Body, a vehicle through which to release His Power under control and through His design—worship in spirit and in truth. We wouldn’t be able to do that if we didn’t know Him and His spirit, that spirit which is present in the Temple of Love, the Temple of Light, and the Temple of Life, now forming in Heaven and on earth. He is the High Priest in the Temple—not as in priestly lineages of this religious world, but as we spoke earlier, the lineage of the Melchizedek Priesthood.

So we will gather, as we are here, to provide a Body of ministers and disciples, prophets and priests, who know that this is who they are—who I am. By reason of our presence in that capacity, by whatever name it might rightly be called, we provide a living vehicle through which the radiation of Shekinah may flow into His Body and His world—may pour forth in rhythms of blessing, released outward to all, and welcomed as they return to us and to Him in the ascending current.

Those who know the Voice of the Master love His Voice. The Master is in the Temple. We find that present often in the eastern world—when one enters a Temple there is a priest or a master in the Temple. Those who love the Master of All know His voice, and they follow Him. So we are going to use, as part of what we do, the high vibrational qualities that are inherent in primary Third Sacred School materials, to open some doors, release the radiation, look at things anew, and allow a movement together into higher ranges—and let a vertical expansion take place. Much preoccupation with external or horizontal expansion has prevailed over the last 2000 years—some of that necessary in order to get people and situations in the world changed around so that the LORD could have a clear shot at refocalizing the cycle of restoration in this era, working through new arrangements of substance and people. But there has been a tremendous over-preoccupation with horizontal expansion and horizontal creation, even among our numbers in the past, and most people seem to think that squashing all activity into the physical and mental levels, with a thinly destructive emotional layer woven through it all, is the only way to go. But here we have an opportunity to let a fine vertical, pneumaplasmic and spiritual expansion occur.

So we are hopeful that, in the days to come, this service opportunity will give each of us who are Temple Priests and Priestesses an opportunity to share what we each have to bring and offer, through reading a transcript excerpt by Uranda or Martin, and speaking extemporaneously—original, authentic and fully alive now! Let each one speak in their own natural tongue and language, their own choice of phrasing and words—anything that fits in Temple service. Anything is welcome, that helps, as Uranda put it, “to work out the Divine Pattern on earth”—anything that is respectful and respecting of others, that is reverent, anything that is sacred, from lowest in the clear Heaven to the Most High that can be wisely and rightly shared. All this is open to us. There is no room for conflict, no room for judgment, no room for criticism. But there is a great deal of space for straight, clear, clean, direct talk, conversation and silence in Upper Room of the Temple—anything that really fits in the movement that we share together. After any reading, will have an open space for free-flowing and radiant conversation, moving in the clear current of the Word. And there is no need to imagine that any one of us should speak in a particular kind of group language, group-speak, or group-think. Each is totally free to speak in their own natural manner, as I am free now with you—and I certainly don’t expect that you would say it like I do.

Each Priest, male or female, is called to bring what they uniquely as an Angel are called to bring to the LORD and to His Priesthood Body. As such, each is part of the Body of the High Priest, reforming on earth in a conscious way, through conscious expression, because of the transformation that has been taking place in the subconscious, because of the pure heart and the Holy Ghost substance now permeating that subconscious realm. So there is no concern about what might erupt out of the subconscious into the conscious, to disrupt in a manner that doesn’t fit in the Temple, because only that which does fit is allowed in and out.

So we begin with small numbers, and let a vertical expansion take place, not so much concerned with horizontal expansion or larger numbers of people. But we have been interested in inviting certain ones to begin with, knowing the Core Focus that various ones have been maintaining; that focus which has allowed the emergence we have all seen through various groupings in various locations over the past couple of years in particular. And this monthly Temple of Light service pattern, at this point, can assist in providing a Core Focus point, that contributes in an integrating way, in a creative way, to all that is being offered everywhere through everyone who is functioning at any level in a genuine spiritual sense, in spiritual expression, whether they are conscious of so functioning or yet unconscious, but who have a love for what is at the core of integrity in themselves and in the world body. We can assist in providing an orientation point for this greater coming forth, something that is helpful in the world. So, as the highest essences of the spirit that we are naturally equipped to allow to move from the inner realms through us are allowed release, we are a representative Core Body and an external Temple setting through which the spirit can move both consciously and subconsciously from Core to the periphery of all that is being drawn together by love, into union with the Spirit of the Most High. We can let it build, and evolve and reshape in the creative process over the coming months.

I feel that it is important to be clear and specific at the beginning, relative to what this new venture is about. We are all very aware of the profane world. Profane is defined as that which is outside of the Temple—out of timing, out of phase, out of rhythm. Centered in the Word, we walk easily in the profane world, speaking with those who are awakening and who are drawn to us. But here there is opportunity to gather as Priests of the Most High God, in Temple service. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2021/02/the-temple-of-light-is-here.html] This rings true and right to me. There is pure delight at the opportunity we have to be together in this way—together in Heaven on earth, as we have been over the past thirty-three years, letting this important cycle of clarification come. With an awareness of all its apparent losses, there is this apparent gain: evidence of the Presence of the LORD, of the Word made flesh, to this degree. We acknowledge these things and move together in accord. What fulfillment might the next seven years bring!

This  Is  My  Body

Martin Exeter  July 27, 1986  a.m.

“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

Coming in the name of the Lord I speak the word of the Lord: I am present on earth through My flesh body. I am present in fact, not merely in symbol. This is My body. This is My blood of the new creation, pulsing through My flesh body as the sound of many waters. Through My word I make all things new. Through My word I make all things. Without My word is nothing made that is made. All that is present in My body, all that is present in the whole universe, is made by My word. Should My word ever cease to be spoken—which would never happen—there would be nothing. By My word all things are made, all things are sustained. Let My word always be spoken through My flesh body on earth. Then, behold, I make all things new. In this hour My word is spoken through My flesh body on earth. All the structures of form throughout the whole universe exist because of My word. Present with all the structures of form is My spiritual substance which permeates the forms and which accommodates My spirit and My word. The structures in the coarsest levels of form throughout the whole universe are living structures because of the spiritual substance which permeates them, thereby maintaining the sound of My voice in the speaking of My word.

One of the structures designed to contain this essential spiritual substance in its finest manifestation is the consciousness of Man. This spiritual substance we have referred to by using the word pneumaplasm. Let us not imagine that mentally there is understanding of what this word really means. Insofar as the mind is concerned it has a concept, probably a variety of concepts according to the number of people who hold them. The concept is never the truth; it is a human invention. But it certainly is easily sensed that there is this connecting substance between spirit and form, the many structures of form.

The most obvious structures of form are the structures composed of what we would refer to as physical substance, but there are structures other than that. In human experience there are what might be referred to as organizational structures, structures which can be identified mentally within the range of human affairs. These are all structures of form. In view of the fact that these structures do not permit the Word to be spoken with clarity and authority, there are indeed many aberrant effects in the world which is humanly known and which has been humanly created. The forms of this world, the structures that are present there, utilize physical substance. Cities are built, for instance; concrete is laid across the land. But in addition there are the structures of organization—local structures, national structures, international structures of all kinds.

Human flesh bodies with their consciousness have been fed into these structures generation after generation, so that the structures have grown and multiplied; but these are not living structures. They are, in every case, dying structures. As has been noted in times past, anything that human beings produce, even of their own kind, dies, disintegrates. “Behold, I make all things new”—new structures, but living structures rather than dying structures. Mentally speaking we have an awareness that everything that human beings do disintegrates. There may be a recognition that disintegration is included in the creative process, very fortunately so insofar as mankind is concerned, because it makes it possible for the rubbish to be swept out. But the primary purpose of speaking My word is to establish the dominion of integration, the dominion of life, which was and is and is to come. Life has always been present throughout the past; it is present now, and will still be present in the days and years to come. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord.” Mine is the creative process which shall always prevail. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord.” My creative cycles prevail in spite of all the arrogant antics of human minds.

“Rise up, my love.” Rise up because love raises the mind out of the pit of knowledge. Human minds swell with their own importance when they are stuffed full of knowledge. Knowledge does not give importance; it reveals the fact of rebelliousness toward the Lord God Almighty. These are words, but they refer to something real, something that is present but remains, insofar as the mind is concerned, the unknown God. The heaven of the Almighty cannot be known as long as human beings are trapped in the bottomless pit. “Rise up, my love.” There is love to make it possible for the rising up. No one can scramble up out of the pit by human effort. The only way to emerge out of that condition is to rise up because of the drawing power of love. No one comes to the true experience except the Father, Love, draw him. It cannot be done by any effort that the human mind may put forth or by any of the desires of the human heart. Oh to be emptied of all such stuff, that there may be space for love. Love is an unknown quantity. It is necessary to be drawn up out of the pit to know what love is.

Love does the drawing, and does not require any definition by the human mind. We have discovered this to some extent because, becoming a little humble, we may say, “What has happened in my own experience to allow the increase of understanding didn’t come because I tried to get it.” It always comes—if it comes—in spite of the person, not because of the person. If it comes at all it comes in spite of human nature, because there is a crack somewhere through which love may emerge into subconscious experience, raising a person up. There is this resurrecting process by which the consciousness of man sheds its addiction to the bottomless pit and begins to breathe at last the satisfying air of the spirit. We share this process now if we will. We may be filled to overflowing with this spirit, so that the Word is spoken, is brought to focus by reason of the generation of the finest levels of pneumaplasm. This substance of spirit is generated on the basis of one’s own life emerging into expression clear and without distortion. We begin to be honest about these things, and we recognize that all that human beings do in this human nature condition is based on absolute self-centeredness. So we reach a point where we are sick and tired and done with all this fetid stuff of human nature which promotes itself at the expense of other selves.

Rise up, my love, come out of this morass. The word is spoken to mind and heart by one who obviously is not trapped in the bottomless pit. That one is present with each person. Over many, many years I’ve been associated with many, many people, you included, who have been filled with questions: Why? What? How? “There’s this thing in my life; you had better take a good look at this and tell me how it should be straightened out.” Nobody can tell you how it should be straightened out, because it doesn’t need to be straightened out. You need to be straightened out! You produced the trouble; accept that fact. Finally you may emerge, break surface into the state where there are no troubles of this nature. That’s where human minds and hearts belong. They don’t belong in this pit. No, we know the foolishness of all this. But we don’t always behave as though we knew the foolishness of it. That’s right too, isn’t it?

Rise up, my love, and come again to the Garden. It doesn’t say that the Garden was taken away; it merely says that human beings were put out of it, but it’s still here, still available. This search for knowledge is the Veil, is that fellow who stands at the Gate of the Garden with the flaming sword. You can’t get by as long as you imagine that your knowledge is going to save you. It isn’t. It doesn’t ever! It ensures the passing of the human flesh.

This is My body through which I speak My word. My word has been spoken this morning by reason of this flesh body. This is My body, this is My blood; this is the way by which I may speak My word on earth, that My Garden may become known again to those who relinquish this useless search for more knowledge. There is the tree of knowledge. It was always there, but it was not fruit to be stolen and used for the supposed benefit of human beings. This is all that knowledge is considered to be useful for, isn’t it? to benefit me, to benefit the human race, to benefit everybody; everybody is going to be blessed. But all that has happened is that everybody has been cursed, based in this one thing: that life should become subject to the concepts and the ideas gleaned from the bottomless pit of knowledge by the human mind. Everybody has been tarred with the same brush.

So we rise up because love calls, and there is sufficient yieldedness of heart to rise up in response and to let go of that hard, harsh arrogance of the human mind which thinks it knows so much, when all its knowledge condemns mankind to oblivion. This is the fact. Rise up, my love, and come away. Let there be a generation of fine spiritual substance, that it may be drawn to focus to receive the focus of spirit, that that spirit moving through that focus point may flood the spiritual substance which has been drawn together. Behold, I make all things new by this, because all things, all structures, when filled with the fine substance of spirit, and therefore by spirit, reveal their true nature.

Firstly it happens in consciousness. That has been pretty rigid in most human beings but it is the area where there is the most potential of flexibility. Let it stir that first, so that human consciousness may come into alignment with the design of spirit which begins to flood the spiritual substance when it is present. Then it moves on out. All substance, whether of a physical nature or whether one might say of an organizational nature, is the way it is because of the nature of the pneumaplasm that is present in human beings, at least insofar as the area of human responsibility is concerned. Because that substance has not been available to spirit, then the forms are dead—they have a little temporary life, some of them.

So we share these moments, aware of the truth of the Word of the One whose body this is: I am present. This is My body, not the body of anyone here. There have been those who have attempted to make this emerging body move in this direction or in that direction, do this or do that; it should be so-and-so, it shouldn't be something else. All this judgment has been spawned, which has simply interfered with the process—not stopped it, but interfered with it. Woe unto those who attempt to distract it or make it work according to some human view. Let it be exactly what it is in design, that it may be brought forth with beauty and wonder and power, that all structures everywhere may be changed in whatever way is necessary. There is no problem to that, no problem at all; only in the human mind which is struggling with these things, trying to make peace, trying to get rid of nuclear arms, trying to do this, trying to do that. All that is so useless. Let the body come forth according to the true design; and in the intensity of the outpouring of this spirit, the speaking of the Word, all things are made new. Everything stands up according to the nature of what is present in the pneumaplasm.

Let that change and there’s no problem with respect to physical substance or organizational substance. It all must yield then, but not until the change is the fact in those who provide the flesh for this body. I rejoice that there are those who are willing that this should be so, to whatever extent that may be true at the moment. It might be said: This is my body; it’s all I’ve got! Speaking for this body, I rejoice that there is a quality of resiliency that is becoming more evident than it has been in times past. If there isn’t much resilience everything becomes such hard work, but when the resilience is there it’s easy and fun, enjoyable, fulfilling, just wonderful! So let us share in this wonder in heaven.

Passion  For  The  King

Be Holy  Be Perfect  Be Humble

Martin Exeter   June 7, 1987 am & pm

Be holy. Be perfect. This is the natural experience for human beings. “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Who indeed can make him- or herself perfect? No one. Who knows what it would mean to be perfect? Who is it that even wants to be holy? The way of holiness, the way of perfection, is the way of man as he was created to be. Be holy. Be perfect. A myriad of excuses rise up as to why this could never happen: all lies. Why would it be so difficult to be oneself? Be holy. Be perfect.

Love God. Love the Supreme One. Love the King. This is the natural attitude and state of man, male and female. We ourselves here this morning rightly represent this love. Love one another. Curse not. In the Book of Revelation the statement is made: “And there shall be no more curse.” What is the curse? The word “curse” in this context is synonymous with the word “accuse.” Human beings constantly curse each other by accusation. Accusation stems from judgment, from the arrogant assumption on the part of anyone that he or she knows what is good and what is evil. Here is the curse. How arrogant to take the attitude for oneself: “I know how others should behave. I am so wise. I am much holier than thou because I can see what a wrong person you are, and I can list the reasons.” No one can justify accusation. In the story of Job, he was instructed to curse God and die. Accuse God, principally by accusing one’s fellows.

We are aware of the fact that rightly we love God and love one another. So if we accuse one another, we accuse God. That’s what it all boils down to eventually. Accusation—it’s blatant, isn’t it, when we begin to assume a heavenly perspective. Be holy. Be perfect. Be humble. We were not set up to be judges of our fellows. It may be said that there is righteous judgment. This would simply be the view of the way things are seen from a heavenly perspective. No judgment would enter into the matter, in the human sense; there would be no accusation and consequently no cursing. With a heavenly perspective things can be seen the way they are, and because it is a heavenly perspective there is no judgment, there is no accusation. There is simply observation of the way things are.

If the instruction is acknowledged, “Be holy, be perfect,” that is receivable only by oneself. If I have used these words now they are instruction to me. If you use them they are instruction to you. Be holy, be perfect, not because you, in the human sense, know what it means to be holy or what it means to be perfect. But the provision has been made for this experience the very moment the accuser is cast down, so that one is no longer identified with the accuser. Love God. Love your fellows. The love with which we love God is responsive love. Responsive love occurs as there is resonation within one’s own substance with God’s love. That has always been present but there has been very little substance in human beings which resonates with that radiance. It is the resonation with the radiance of love that is love for God. That resonation enables a sharing in the radiance of God’s love, which is then available to love our fellows. Are we not able to handle in radiant love everything that comes to us? Of course. But we have no radiant love available until there is first a resonating with the radiant love of God, the radiant love of the King. When we resonate with that our resonation is unified with that radiation and so we are in position to participate in further radiation. But radiation never brings subjection to that which is being offered the opportunity of response. There is only one way to help anyone else, and that is to be aligned with the outpouring radiation of God’s love. Only those will be helped in whom there is substance which resonates with that radiance. Others continue in the cursed condition. The actual answer for everything is to participate in that radiation of love. That is the only way anything gets sorted out.

Righteous judgment could be defined as judgment without accusation. When there is clear seeing because there is no accusation, then one understands what has happened; and one is quite willing to let it happen, because what’s happening is what should happen. Constantly what happens is what should happen. Let the accuser be cast down. There are things happening in the earth that have been produced by this curse: the insistence by human beings upon their right to judge, their right to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We share in a willingness to let the accuser be cast down, so that we handle our affairs without accusation. No matter what we see, or think we see, in others, in circumstances, in events which are reported to us around the world, there is no accusation. Until that is the fact there shall be more curse; and the evidence of the curse is becoming ever more intense. The more intense it becomes the more reason people imagine they have to accuse. It is a vicious circle. Someone has to break it. Because we have some understanding in these matters, the responsibility must be ours. So we stop cursing.

What engenders conversation between human beings, as a rule? Accusation, chatter, gossip—accusation. It is indicated that one will give account for every idle word in the day of judgment. Today is the day of judgment—it has always been so. Let the accuser be cast down. There is no radiance of love as long as accusation remains. It is a loveless world. Resonating with the radiance of the love of the King, we share that radiance, that the substance in human beings everywhere may be offered the opportunity of resonating with that radiance. This is the creative process. Let the accusations be cast down—they mean nothing; they have no validity whatsoever—that there may be a clear space in which the radiance of love pours forth to seek out substance in human beings the world around which will resonate with that radiance. Leave it in the hands of that radiance. That’s what works.

Only as there are those on the face of the earth who have responded and are resonating with the instruction, “Be holy, be perfect, be humble,” is there the emergent specific provision made understandably available to all human beings who are capable of receiving it. That is all that can be done. Rise up and come home,” is the command of the radiation of love. Only those who resonate to that command will rise up and come home. Let it be the way of the creative process. Let it be the way of the King. Let it be the way of Almighty God, that there may be present on earth those who love Him and love each other.

Radiant radiation and responsive radiation. Radiant radiation is the radiation of the love of the King. Responsive radiation occurs to the extent that one’s own individual substance is made available to resonate with radiant radiation. Then there is unified radiation, the fulfilment of that very exact Law. If the substance which is present in each individual—physical substance, mental substance, emotional substance, spiritual substance—is permitted to resonate with the radiation of the love of the King it will do so, because we are willing, and our hearts have been turned back again.

On the other hand it is very evident that the substance that is present in human beings the world around has been offered in resonation to what is factually below. The substance of mankind resonates with the world which has been created by mankind, having removed that substance from resonating with the love of the King. If there is resonation with what has been humanly created, the attraction is downward. We know what the end result of that is. This substance is kept from resonating with the radiation of love from the King because of human insistence to keep it polarized in the passions of human nature. It’s interesting to note how much passion is apparent in people who are polarized in what rightly should be below them. A very obvious way is what human beings have passionately given to their cultures, to their religions, to their political structures, to their structures of society, whatever they may be. When something arises, how much passion is poured into resonation with this! Resonation occurs both from the standpoint of love and hate, and all the colorations in between. But how passionate people become in these various fields! What passionate reaction there was in times past with respect to what our friend Immanuel Velikovsky offered—passionate reaction from the scientific establishment. Human beings have a capability of passion, and how passionate people are with respect to their various fields of operation which they love so much. They are passionate about terrorism—very passionate about dying. In a way this could be said of everybody: the methods are different. But it is this passion, polarized in what is rightly below, which leads everybody down.

I have wondered about the seeming lack of passion with respect to the King. While I wouldn’t suggest anything out from under control, nevertheless this is where any passion we have belongs. Love for the King. Love God, and live. Curse God, and die. How much real passion is there for the King? Where is our passion?

Sometimes a great deal of enthusiasm is engendered by reason of a game of some kind—maybe a card game, maybe ice hockey. People have tremendous passion in all these kinds of directions. But passion for the King? It’s usually pretty pale—anemic. Yet without it there is only perishing. We have, individually speaking, a capacity for passion. How will it be exercised? With some it seems it is not exercised at all. Then the capacity atrophies—something that is not exercised will atrophy. We have a passion, I know; otherwise you wouldn’t be sitting there. Many people are passionately given to TV. What programs are we missing tonight? Of course these days you can record them and see them later.

Trust the King and live. Eschew cursing. Eschew accusation. If you want a grand evil, there it is, one to be eschewed—not so that we may do good, but so that we may reveal the radiance of the King. We may share with Him His radiance. We honor Him in this way, and we are glorified by Him in this way. This state, of which we know a little, seems so far removed from the pleasures of this world, about which human beings become so passionate. It seems to most human hearts and minds to relate to a never-never land. But we know better.

When there is passion for the King, in fact, this state of radiant outpouring is so intense and all-consuming that finally no one can avoid it. There are those the world around who already love the King. The majority of them have no idea that He has a Body. Those who are aware of the Body, and who genuinely love the King, love His Body, for the King and His body are one. It is impossible to love the King and not love His body. So obviously, accusation, if it occurs within the Body, is an indication that those concerned do not love the King, or their love is not genuine. This is not to say that it might not become genuine if there is a willingness to eschew judgment, to eschew the evil of accusation. There is never any justification for it. One cannot, by any means, justify it. If one attempts to do it one just fools oneself.

Trust the King. Trust His spirit, which is revealed through the creative process. Another word for the creative process might be the Christ. There are a lot of people who claim to believe in the Christ but very few who trust the Christ, who trust the creative process, which is the evidence of the working of the Spirit of the King. Trust the King, honor the King, because the King is loved. And the King is loved, factually, when the substance of one’s earthly being resonates with the radiation of His love.

Most love for God tends to be love for something imaginary, a concept of the mind, an idea that has taken root in human consciousness. There are different ideas in this regard and there are those who have their particular idea to love. If one is loving an idea one is in fact insisting that, should there really be a God, “He must conform to my idea, because I love my idea and unless God conforms to my idea I can’t love God. But of course He will, because my idea is a good one; it’s supported by my particular religion, denomination or whatever.” And there is always seemingly safety in numbers. But that of course is never loving God. It is in fact denying God, because God, the reality, is not going to conform to any human concept or idea.

He is not going to fit into the human view of things.

We realize that the human view must be relinquished if there is to be space for God to reveal Himself—as He is, not as human beings might like Him to be. It seems that a lot of people have a pet God; like the genie in the bottle, isn’t it? You rub God the right way and He will come out of the bottle and give you a blessing. How nice. But beware if you rub the bottle in the wrong way! Then a very wrathful character will emerge and give you hell. I’m sure we are all delighted that it is quite possible to give space in ourselves for God to reveal Himself—but not to us. That’s what human beings usually want, isn’t it? “Well I want to be sure about this. You reveal yourself to me so that I am sure. I need a vision.” Lots of people have had visions on this basis, sometimes visible visions: “Jesus came, and He said this to me.” No, He didn’t. It doesn’t work that way.

When God is given space because we honor the King, loving Him above all, then we will find ourselves increasingly capable of giving expression to His spirit. And to that extent we come to know God. It’s the only way anyone can know God. Certainly He isn’t the genie in the bottle. He isn’t some character hiding behind a cloud somewhere, so that no one can find Him except by various techniques. God is not found that way. The truth is not found that way. It is only found when there is space in oneself to give expression to the truth and to reveal the character of God. Then you know what it is. But certainly it cannot be revealed through all the clutter of human beliefs, ideas, concepts; even less through their ambitions and determinations and endeavors to achieve.

It is rather shattering, to human egos at least, to human beings in general, to come to the realization that all that has been undertaken by human beings over the millennia comes to naught. It has no value in and of itself. We know where the value is: in God, specifically in the love of our King. We begin to have value when we resonate with that, not the sort of value that those who are trapped in the human state recognize particularly. Certainly no one hands out rewards for it or medals for it. If you want a medal you had better go someplace else. No, the value is in the expression of living, the quality that is revealed in one’s own heart and mind and body, the quality of the King; there is the value.

Recently in a service someone mentioned that virtue is its own reward, and back along the way he didn’t think much of that. But if virtue is seen as the revelation of God on earth, what greater reward could there be? Everything else pales to insignificance. Of course this revelation, while it requires individuals, is not merely an individual matter. It’s far greater than that. Finally we allow this revelation to put in an appearance because we let the curse be finished.

Comment — Martin, my King is embodied. Here am I in the midst of Him. More specifically, my King has a focus on earth, in you, and you are my passion. There is nothing to do on earth but to resonate with you, to serve my King, that there is visible, clear and sweet evidence of His presence on earth because, here we are. And we are in passionate love.

Martin Exeter — This passion which is to be experienced on earth, by reason of those of us who are present to experience it, is essential to reveal the radiant love of the King. His love can never be revealed in absentia. If the King is absent His love cannot be revealed. Of course the King has always been present, but unknown, invisible. He becomes known as there is an emergence into human consciousness of the nature of the passion that allows the King to be present in His Body on earth. It isn’t some sort of abstract passion, or a passion toward some hoped-for but invisible character. The passion must be experienced at the level where we are, not in some supposedly exalted level somewhere else. Then the King comes on earth and we discover that our experience is of an absolute nature. It requires absolutely a passionate experience on earth. “Oh well,” some may say, “I’ll be very passionate when I come into the presence of the King.”

Aren’t you in the presence of the King? Surely we all are. But that presence is represented, and unless the passion is at the level of the representation it won’t be at the level of the King. It is something that is actually very practical. There is no necessity for some mystical involvement. We are all here together. We know each other. We can love each other. There can be a passion for what is represented, both from the standpoint of the representation of the King and from the standpoint of the representation of His Body. They are one anyway. Being passionately in love with the King we are also at the same time passionately in love with His Body. Now perhaps we have reached a point where we do not interpret this passion in the old human-nature ways. We let it be actually what it is. And we define that at the moment by saying, as the King said, “Love one another. Love me, love one another.” The love for one another is absolutely dependent upon the love for Him. If this has been missing in some respects we know that our love for Him has been less than passionate. But now it begins to come forth.

There are angels on earth in human form, present, to be responsible for revealing the King—certainly not for boosting any human egos but for revealing the King, that and that alone. I suppose I myself have had a large opportunity, if I wished to take it, to boost my ego. The circumstances of my birth, etc, make this quite available to me. But I belong to my King; and because I belong to my King, you belong to me, and you belong to each other. One Body. One Spirit. One King. We all awaken in our own experience to what this means. We may say it is quite unprecedented. Of course! If there had been a precedent we wouldn’t be doing what we are doing. But the precedent is being established not by human effort, certainly not by any human ambition, but by the radiant love of the King.

As the Master said long ago with respect to Himself, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” And the central commandment is: Love one another. Of course this can’t be done on command. It is done because the passion, the angelic passion, which is present in each individual, emerges through heart and mind into experience. It only does that as the substance of heart and mind and body are freed up from their structures to resonate with the love of the King. That is union.
