Good morning in the Temple of Light — and welcome to all who are drawn to participate in the next Temple of Light service, which will be focused by Mary Janak from Denver, Colorado and Robert Kauffman from Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, June 25, 2023 @ 10amPacificTime
These few words, spoken in an Assembly session on August 9, 1979 by Martin Cecil, open a pattern of meditation which is of vital importance in our midst in these days of gathering intensity:
"The movement of the spirit of God generates passion, a very intense emotion—no evidence of anything out from under control. Do you think that any of us are going to achieve what we’re here to do without passion, without an intensity of emotion which is giving evidence of the fact that the spirit of God is moving with increased freedom and effect because there is substance present through which it may move? If we’re afraid of that movement, and afraid of that passion, well we’re in the wrong business, because obviously that’s what we’re here to let happen. The passion gives evidence of the movement of the spirit of God through the available spiritual substance, and if there’s plenty of spiritual substance there’s more passion then experienced, and that passion gives evidence of the power. We don’t want to stand in the way of that power so that we block its movement, because its going to be a risky business. We have the necessity of learning to experience this emotional passion at ever-increasing intensities. If we recognize the need for power, you can’t have the power without the passion. And as we are here to handle that power in the recreative processes, then we’d better be willing to accept the passion and learn how to let the passion be present, giving evidence of the power. Here is something controlled. This has been what has been absent—the control which would allow power to be intensified to the point where it might do what needs to be done in what we call restoration. In the generation of substance, we need space. Oneness can only be experienced when there is the necessary space. In our association with each other we become aware of holy space, sacred space, which increasingly we would not violate in any way. And there is need for a great deal of space in this sense between us. You cannot experience oneness with another person without unlimited space. It’s rightly an expansive experience. One becomes One with everything.”
Together we may bring the substance of connection and the substance of action, blended and balanced through this company of women and men who compose His Eternal Priesthood—male and female—called to serve the LORD in His Temple of Light now open in this day, extending the invitation: Come, ye blessed of my Father, come!David Barnes and Anne Blaney

Everyone is welcome to participate in a Temple of Light service. We only send this Notice and Zoom link to those who have asked to be on our Mailing List, or who ask for a Zoom link for a specific service date. Please don’t pass the link to anyone. We prefer that those who want to receive the monthly Temple Service Zoom link write and request it. This helps keep a light touch of essential control on who and what comes through the door. If you wish to lead the way, to focus and speak in a monthly service in times to come, please let us know. Transcripts and videos are available to all on the Temple of Light website @ templeoflightservices.blogspot.com
