Temple of Light Service
Well, it’s a real pleasure to be with you right now, each of you and all of us together. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to speak; thanks especially to David Barnes, and for his help in leading me to this point. It's been a pleasure to discover the Temple of Light group—all of you; each of you—and to feel and experience the strength of spirit that has been coming through each of you, and all of us together. So it's a pleasure for me to able to have this time to speak, and I do have some things to share. But I'm also cognizant of the fact that while I will be speaking in words, you too are speaking the Word in your own way; probably silently, but no less powerfully, and as we all do this individually it happens together. And we are here in this new moment.
It’s amazing how life works like that, bringing us new opportunities all the time. It was said in the Book of John, “In the beginning was the Word”, and in preparing for what I might say today I went through a lot of services, and in one Martin was talking about that—that might have even been the title of one of the services he gave—and saying that in the beginning is the Word; in this beginning—there is always a beginning, there's an ending, and we give thanks for the endings of a day, for instance, and we can say we saw it and it was good. And immediately there is a new beginning. And of course there are cycles of all different types. We have one of 24 hours in a day, and we're aware that there are longer cycles outworking. Perhaps you, like me, bought the book by Eckhart Tolle, The Power Of Now, and there is immense power in the now, right now, this moment; in every moment. Of course, Martin spoke of that many years before, and I'm sure Uranda did as well.
And I'd also like to say that I really look forward to hearing you speak after I'm done. I really look forward to hearing what you have to say, what you're feeling, thinking, what your experience is, on whatever level, because we're moving in these things individually and together. So, I look forward to that, because we are One Body, a body of many members. It's so good that we know each other, and that I'm coming to know some of you individually, who I had not known before. It's a real pleasure, and I look forward to the days in the future when I get to know you better. But at least it's been wonderful so far to get to know those of you whom I had not known before, through these services; and coming to know the essence of your being, your expression; and it's wonderful how we are different and yet we fit together in a wonderful and creative and powerful way.
And of course there are many that we are connected with that we know, and more that we don't know, throughout the world. There are probably many hungering for an experience of solidity—and that's something that I've been experiencing as part of our groupings, this sense of solidity, and a sense of the Core. I'd like to read something from Isaiah, as a type of invitation to those who we may be connected with vibrationally, wherever they may be. And Arno, if I remember correctly, you quoted from Isaiah a few services back; it was great to hear. I really enjoyed your service, the three of you. And so this is Isaiah, Chapter 55. It’s a piece that I have long loved, and I find the language poetic:
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
So I feel that there is a spirit of invitation, through us all actually in this moment. There is a drawing isn't there, a drawing power? And this is part of the circulation in the Divine Design as it relates to man, man and woman; the whole earth—this whole wonderful world.
Just by means of a quick introduction for those of you who don’t know me: I was born near Chicago, and grew up in Canada; and that’s where my family met the people with the Emissaries at the 100 Mile House unit. We had a ranch there, and so we lived there for many years; later moving on to Kamloops, where my parents were the servers at Riverbend Orchard, the Emissary unit there, after Carl and Anne Richmond left to go to the Hundred. Don and Sherry Berger are my parents; and my mom now goes by her maiden name Sherry Stewart. And David was a key part in the leadership at Riverbend Orchard; that's where I had the great pleasure of meeting David. And from there I journeyed on, and I returned to the US in 1983, and found my way here to California. I'd like to thank John Gray for giving me the opportunity to live at the Glen Ivy unit for a year, and I have been here in this area since about 1985; the Los Angeles area certainly feels like home to me, and there are lots of great people here.
So this theme that's been moving with me the last while, since the last service with David and Anne—and John and Pamela spoke last weekend in a Tone of Life service. One of the main themes that’s been with me is the fact of, and the value of, the Body that we compose, the Body of many members—you; each of us. We each have different parts to play; and as I said before, it's wonderful to discover the part that I think you play, and perhaps at some point you might tell us more; if you have a perception, no doubt you do, and an experience of the distinct thing that bring in the Body; perhaps several things that you contribute. And of course we overlap in ways, our abilities and so forth. Uranda spoke about this in a Class service from May 28, 1953. I found this on David's website [The Great Cosmic Story]. The title is Centered in the Crown, from Roots and Branches:
“We cannot hope to accomplish something without the machinery of accomplishment. It is utterly unreasonable to think that scattered human beings, disorganized, without coordination and centering and unification, can do something which the angels of Heaven cannot do on any such basis. If it is to be done here we must do it on exactly the same basis as that which holds in the Inner Realm, or Heaven. And that means organization. That means that, as there is a Head in Heaven, there must be a manifestation of that Head and form in earth. If there is to be a body there must be all the members of the body. All the members are important to the body as a whole. That body is not just a torso with legs and arms. It includes the head. The head makes the body meaningful—the body makes the head meaningful. Either one without the other is no good. In the head we have the various means of perception, seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, even touch or feeling, although that extends to the rest of the body also.
“If this Inner Design is to manifest on earth according to the Plan of God we must have a body of many members, coordinated, centered. There must be the form of the head, as well as of the torso. And the Divine Design for man as an individual is the same as the Divine Design for man as humanity. With respect to man we have the record: ‘Let us’—note the plural—‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,’ and it was done. The plural is an absolute necessity in this particular statement from the Divine Record, and it is the plural which is the reality in you, the plural of the members, of the parts, individually or collectively. And that Design which is used in you as a human being, individually, carries the same principles as are used in the development of the body of humanity, as that body is drawn into the form, the pattern, the design, which God intended.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2018/02/centered-in-crown-from-roots-and.html]
In the service that was given last month, Anne mentioned a pyramid—and she held up a small jade pyramid—and it is a very useful thing to consider. We've also considered the idea of a sphere as containing the members of our Body, and the members of mankind; and of course Earth, our beautiful Earth is shaped like a sphere; some say a little like an egg, perhaps not quite perfect, but more or less a beautiful, largely blue sphere. And these images are useful for describing certain things; describing our experience—but there are other levels, as David mentioned; he referred to the fourth level. The Body is multidimensional, and I think we're all discovering this in our own ways—in our services—but certainly in our own experiences. If it didn't happen in our own individual experience it wouldn't happen in the service, for the most part. So this world is largely known as three-dimensional, but it's actually seven-dimensional. Martin spoke about this in an excerpt titled, Coming Out With A Bang—from a May 24, 1970 service called, From Fall To Restoration:
“The solar system is constantly moving in its orbit in the galaxy, and consequently the influences, whatever they are, which are brought to bear upon the solar system, and more particularly from our standpoint upon the earth, are constantly changing. We find a whole network of influences here of which the mind of man knows virtually nothing. Very few of these influences are taken into consideration at all. Some of them are observable in various ways. But this movement of the solar system, and the earth in particular, through a changing pattern of influence has brought to bear upon this planet certain vibrational factors which relate to what has been experienced by the human race over the ages.
“In this fallen state we have been living in a three-dimensional world—for most it has been less than three dimensions—when the fact of the matter is that it is a Seven-Dimensional world. Unless we are capable of surviving in a Seven-Dimensional world we cannot survive. We have up to this point been capable of surviving a few years in a three-dimensional world. Generation after generation this has been so in the fallen state. While this vibrational cloud was in effect” [he was speaking of the vibrational cloud that the solar system has been moving through] “this was possible, but we are moving out of it, so that it is no longer possible to continue to exist merely in a three-dimensional world. We must come out into a Seven-Dimensional world, and we are in the process of coming out with a bang. There is an exponential curve in this regard. This impetus which is being experienced by everyone, a very intense compulsion increasing, is a destructive thing to those who are attempting to continue to exist in a three-dimensional world. We see this attempt being made valiantly all around us. There is still the general endeavor to maintain the three-dimensional world as it has been known, and it is becoming more and more difficult. Well that was possible for a while, while we lived in the cloud and were able to exist in this three-dimensional state.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2020/04/coming-out-with-bang-from-from-martin.html]
Hasn't it been wonderful to experience more than just the three-dimensional state that has been known for so long? I think we sense that it is natural to live in a state where there are more than three dimensions; it feels natural to let our experience expand, even though it may be uncomfortable at times. Purification is involved in this process. But this is the way the Body was designed to be, to function; and I think it can handle it, if we get to that point where more people become aware of the greater dimensions.
I had this example brought to mind the other day when I went running. I've been a runner all my life; it’s one of the ways in which I really enjoy getting exercise. I hadn't run for several days before that, so I found that it took a little while to warm up. You probably find the same thing, however you get your exercise, whether it's walking or something more strenuous. But before long I felt my lungs expanding very easily, and the leg muscles were more warmed up. I was able to run in a more dynamic fashion, more rhythmically, and they were able to carry me better. So I have no doubt that the body of mankind will find that as well, the more it wakes up. And of course we know many who are already awake, and others who are in the process of awakening. So all that remains to be seen really, after this happens, is how far can we go; what can we accomplish together; what is there for us to do? And I think we're really learning what our purpose is—and I've got something I want to say about that a little later. But this process of discovery is wonderful, and of course there's been an evolutionary process in mankind for many years; we've seen amazing things happen just in the last hundred years; even in shorter periods of time than that. And once the Body gets warmed up we can also find out how fast can we go, how fast can one run, how easily can things of God be received into our awareness, allowing us to make things manifest, to live in this way, in a new way.
Being part of the body of mankind, we’re often aware of what others experience. Sometimes they tell us, if we know those people, if they're close to us; sometimes we hear about these things through the media, through the news, maybe on social media. I'm on Facebook; I don't know if you are, but that's a wonderful way to connect with friends; mostly wonderful. I guess I don't resonate with all the posts I see; maybe it's the same with you; but regardless, it's a good way to get a handle on where our friends are at. And some of us may be more sensitive than others in perceiving what is happening with the other members of the Body—and this is part of the design too. Some are related more to the head, as we were considering several minutes ago, and others more with parts of the Body, members of the Body. In this case I think of the heart, the emotional realm, the realm of perception.
This is a time of great change and upheaval in many ways. Martin was speaking about that, and we see it, especially as it relates to Covid-19 now, I think. You may have seen in the news, just a few days ago, it was mentioned that there is a new variant of the virus found; and it was interesting for me to see a headline or two saying, “How concerned should we be?” Personally I think there is a little bit too much fear around this. It is obviously good and it's wise to take precautions, and to be up to speed on the situation in the world, what is happening there; but it's also wise of course not to get too caught up emotionally. I remember the words of Moses: "Fear not, stand still"; stand in the place where you know that all is well. You know who you are. You know the power and the graciousness of God, and how the creative process works. Trust; trust the process. Take steps you think are necessary, but also trust and relax, relax in the current of the spirit of Life; and receive the Love which is evident in our lives as well, that we receive from God.
That is something that I've been feeling really strongly these days—the spirit of Love. And also the spirit of the Womb, especially I think in respect to the Temple of Light. There is something to be trusted always. And no doubt there's going to be a period of upheaval for some time--maybe we haven't seen the half of it. But this is the process that we’re in, and we give thanks for it, because it's through this process of purification that the Body is able to wake up more and be aware of its purpose, to do what it’s here to do—and by that I also mean all the members of the Body, you and each of us. Last month, David spoke of the fourth level experienced by men and women in Divine identity and living, and how the experience on that level relates to the spirit of purification, and of the pure heart. I think the more we inhabit this fourth level and beyond, as we touch into those levels, the more substance we generate, making it possible to get a clearer understanding of the whole spectrum in the design as it relates to us individually, together, and for the world. We bring that salvation by making the Word flesh, letting the truth and love that we know in each moment be manifest in this moment. Here we are in another new moment, in every moment. And there is a process—as it is continuous, this is one way that more and more substance is generated. And as we do it, others around us can see that it can be done.
This reminds me of Lillian Exeter—such a wonderful angel, a wonderful woman. Several of you probably knew her better than I did, or spent more time with her than I did; I'll put it that way. But I was blessed by her presence and the moments I shared with her. And one aspect of Lillian's character that I knew is that, for lack of a better term, she seemed kind of like a spiritual cheerleader. She was very supportive of the members of the Body. It's as if she would say, “You can do it!” And I remember her laugh, and her sense of humour—a wonderful angel.
Martin spoke about how we often perceive what is going on, or what may be going on, with those whom we’re connected with—from a service on January 29, 1984 entitled, The Spirit and Substance of Purification:
“Feed my sheep. There are cries of fear and desperation brought to us. We become aware of these and usually are inclined to translate them personally as being our own, and then maybe try to pin them down somehow: ‘It must be because of this person or that person, this circumstance or that circumstance, that I feel these adverse emotions.’ The cries come to us. To the extent that we are no longer self-centered we do not translate these cries as being merely personal. What needs to be rightly handled comes to us.
“So we have the opportunity of sharing in the process of clarification. This has something to do with the spirit of purification. We touched upon the spirit of love, the spirit of the womb, the spirit of life, and now the spirit of purification. As long as human hearts are impure, which they are, then there is need for the spirit of purification. And who is going to provide it? Can we say, ‘I am’? I trust so. That’s what we are here for: to let the purification be experienced. In somebody else? Of course not. The only place one can experience it is in oneself. So we let it happen, and there is the spirit of purification, a differentiation of the spirit of love; and there is the substance of purification, a modification of the substance of love.
“We share in the process by which human hearts are purified, at least those hearts which cry unto us. There are many hearts which will not do that, but wherever there is a cry that comes to us we have a responsibility, and we can let the purification come because we know it in ourselves. We don’t know where the cry came from, for the most part—sometimes we hear it directly from somebody, but for the most part there’s no need to know. We don’t need to travel around the earth looking for the source of the tribulation which we touch. Just let it be cleared here and the opportunity for its clearing there is present.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2017/01/from-martin-cecil-january-29-1984-feed.html]
This also relates to the matter of essences. We know of spiritual essences which we receive internally from heaven, but there are also those earthly essences, and the material which is released through the purification process. And so this is part of our experience, to be open to these essences—not just to the ones that are coming from heaven in a pure state; but to listen, to be open and listen and receive that which comes to us. And often we don't have to do that too hard; they come to us anyway. But like Martin said, that’s why we’re here. And I find it a thrilling part of our experience, to do this; it’s necessary, and so whatever is necessary is joyful. And we need many members for the purification, as we move from the spiritual expression phase into the phase where purification becomes possible and is necessary. Probably a lot of us are involved in this, and you may find this yourself. I look forward to hearing when you speak, if you want to speak about this, how it is in your experience.
We can see an example of the purification process in the human body. Just as there are many members who are engaged in it in a spiritual sense, we need the different parts of our body for the purification in our physical body. You have the heart, which does such an amazing job. We could spend services, I’m sure, on the wonders of the human body, and the mind. But the heart beats always, and we don’t even have to make it happen—it happens. And there is something greater that causes that; I'm sure we're all aware of that. So there is the heart, and there is the lungs, taking in the fresh air and exhaling. And this is another process that is involuntary, you could say; it happens naturally--you can't help but exhale and breathe in, and this happens rhythmically, always. And there’s also the lymphatic system which is necessary; and the kidneys; the circulatory system, and the blood which flows through our veins; and the body itself is needed for exercise to get the blood pumping, and this is one way that purification happens, through exercise; toxins are released through the skin.
I'd like to read some words of Martin's, that also relate to this multidimensional process—the receiving from heaven, the flow that happens that way, and the flow that also comes back to us from the earth, and from people. This piece has meant a lot to me through the years, so much so that I have had it on my fridge! It was a service Martin gave on December 28, 1986, entitled Cosmic Identity #1. It's also in the Third Sacred School, volume 18:31.
“Yielding to the movement of the rhythms, the cosmic rhythms that are present, we begin to discover that they are present. We come apart, open, yielded, to receive a new awareness as being a part of an immense whole. If we have any individual meaning it is based in the fact that we are functioning and operating within that immense whole, that immense cosmic whole. There is our meaning. There is no meaning or anything outside of that.
“We share these moments, letting a certain quietness come, a stillness, a consciousness of being in accord, a consciousness of all being together in one place, no matter what the geographical position may be. And so the affairs of the human identity in which we all play a certain part may be permeated by the cosmic rhythms and the cosmic purposes. What effect does that have? It raises up what is capable of being raised up; it dissolves what is not capable of being raised up. We have been aware of these two aspects of the creative process: integration and disintegration. The effect of the creative process emerges in this way. We are concerned with that emergence within the range of human affairs. To be in the range of human affairs it must emerge through human beings. Nothing gets into human affairs without coming through human beings.
“As cosmic identity and alignment, attunement, with cosmic rhythms and purposes is restored, then whatever we do in our daily living will be permeated by this cosmic expression, the expression of the creative process, but brought to focus now through human beings. This is the purpose of man: to bring this to focus, to let the planet and all things related to the planet be brought specifically and directly into the focus of the creative process by reason of man. This is the only reason for the continued existence of man.”
So here is the process of circulation in the Body, and the process of purification. Many of us, especially those of us who were in Emissary classes—and maybe you know what's coming!--we are familiar with the example where you have a pitcher of clear water and a bowl or basin, a receptacle filled with inky black water; the clear water representing the clear spirit, our spirit, the spirit of God; and the darkened water as that of the substance that is in human consciousness at this time, to a large extent, impurifications, a muddy condition. But as you pour the clear water into the bowl, the colour of the water in the bowl gradually becomes lighter as the clear water pours in. And this is also how it happens in actual fact, the clear water of truth allowed into and through our minds and hearts, purifying that which is within us, and then beyond, because that power cannot help but move. Again, here is the movement that is inherent in the whole system--everything is moving, even the earth revolving on its axis, rotating around our sun, as the other planets in our solar system revolve in their orbits around the sun, silently from our perspective; and the whole solar system is moving as well in its path. And as the purification process happens, as that inky black water spills over the side of the bowl, we sometimes become aware of it; it's just part of the process. And it's a natural part of the process, isn't it?—actually something to give thanks for. It's evidence that the process is working, that the power of God, the power of the creative process which we have a direct part in facilitating, is working. So it's wonderful. It may be a little uncomfortable at times to the human facilities, but it's what must happen, and we can give thanks for that.
And the purification also happens in specific ways in engaging with people that we know, even people that may have differing opinions; but it's by being open to this whole process that we discover how we're connected, how we might work together. And so we allow ourselves to be freed up in this way, freed up to experience the greater ability of our Body, our Body of many members. There was even a service entitled The Dissolution Of Resistance that Martin gave many years ago on October 22, 1978, found in TSS 2:62; maybe a few of you might remember that; I seem to have a memory for some of these things. But that is something wonderful too—to let resistance dissolve, to go with the process, to let it move, to let it happen. I think if it is happening it's indication that we need to move with it, that we can, that there's a certain speed with which we need to do things. And there is a pressure in this process, as I think we've been finding—it is inexorable, one could say. And the purpose for that is to move with the Divine in a greater way, to discover more of ourselves; for you to discover more of yourself; for me to discover that; and for us to discover more how we fit together, and what we have to do together, and what we can do—not just us, but all of those who are connected with us, open to the movement, willing to move with the current, with the strong current of the spirit of God, the spirit of Life, which manifests in so many beautiful ways in our lives—in a multidimensional way.
Here is radiance. Here is love—the great powerful spirit of love that you feel, I'm sure; and that I feel; and that we experience together now, in this moment. And we can look forward to a greater experience in each succeeding now. So I'm very grateful to be with you, each of you beautiful angels, and for us to be together to consider these things; to move with a current of the spirit; to generate the substance of love and to let that move on out, to whomever may be open to receive it. Those who especially may need the touch of love, in trying circumstances, and those who are perhaps just becoming aware of these things—anyone who finds it of value to touch the Core of Love, the firm foundation of our beings. So that's probably enough from me, and I am eager to hear from you what may be in your heart, your mind, moving in you and your experience, now or in the last several days. I'm grateful for this opportunity that I have with you, each of you and all of us together. So I will open the floor to you, if you would like to say something; and I look forward to being with you in this moment in this.

Pamela Gray — Stewart, I would love to say something! It has been seamless to be with you in the current of the spirit, and I appreciate you stepping into this focus with your clear, genuine spirit that touches people in such a heartfelt way. I think of what you have done in your life in the greater public face of radio; and you may not talk about the “restoration”, but your spirit is a genuine, beautiful, clear spirit that comes from the core of who you are, and it just reaches out and touches people. When we speak the Word there is purification. We cannot step into that experience and speak the Word without there being purification in ourselves, and available as the Word goes out. I so appreciated you speaking, in the beginning, Isaiah's words. Isn't that the core of what we do together as a collective: that we speak the Word and the Word does not return void. It comes to the pure place of love, our love for the Creator, our love for Him—and we release it, let it go where it does. So it's been special morn
ing together.
Bill Bahan — Thank you Stewart. I love you clear, strong spirit. Thank you for putting yourself on the spot today, and speaking your truth—which is your truth. As you said in the beginning, we speak with one voice; but there has to be one person at a time to focus, when we come together like this. It would a cacophony if we all tried to speak the truth which we know all at one time. But I thank God for you today, that you accepted this responsibility of speaking the truth which we all know. We do speak with one voice—and thank you.
Linda Bahan — Actually, while we still have our mute button off I like to echo my sentiments of gratitude for you. I felt like you bared your soul; that's the way I felt—that your essences were just poured out into this holy place. I know for most of us it does take something to open our hearts in a larger grouping, many of whom we don’t know. I’ve never met you before—but I have met you, and thank you for allowing me to hear the resonance of your spirit through the spoken word; because that’s the only way we can love and appreciate each other, by hearing that Tone sounding through each and every one of us. So thank you so much for coming and sharing your spirit, which is my spirit—I know it well. So thank you so much Stewart.
Anne Blaney — Me too Stewart! I just so appreciated what you brought this morning; how you picked essences from far and close and brought them all into one place for us. I agree with Bill, that it takes one person to bring these factors together, and speak consciously and intelligently, expressing something on behalf of us all—but it goes out through that one speaking. I feel that your time with us this morning was an intimate invitation actually. You invited us into an intimate angelic conversation, and I want to emphasize that. I thought you invited us into an intimate angelic conversation, amongst people who know a particular experience. And you spoke with such confidence and credibility to the seven dimensional man, the seven dimensionality that we are. You spoke of it with such ease and gave examples of the very wonderfully beautiful subtle ways of that place where I believe we all function, and are getting increasingly familiar and facile in that place. And we do pick up on things, as you were mentioning. And in the spirit of the intimacy of your invitation I want to make a personal comment. Yes, we hear voices from the greater world but we also begin to hear more muffled voices perhaps, ones that are coming right through our own flesh, our own minds. They've been with us so long that we sometimes don't even know they're there. But they increasingly become obvious, subtle things that need to be purified, clarified in our own own flesh, within our own minds, within our own capacities; and those voices are miraculously connected to other people when they are cleared, when they are purified. I loved the lack of apology that was present with your words today. They spoke of confidence in the Body and confidence in the Head of the Body, in different functions of the Body that I feel we all are very drawn to. So thank you Stewart. What a marvelous time with you.
Daniel Cartwright — Hi Stewart. In a group like this where we have a priestly function together, and some awareness and experience that's shared in the past, your words were great; and it's not so much the words we say, which were lovely, but it's what they stir. For me you've stirred something that was historic, the presence of your parents. I think of different areas in which we've all worked. We have the commercial aspects of what we do, in our daily and hourly purposes. Well, your Mom and I worked very closely together. Remember those beds she used to sell up in Canada? And we worked together in the area of education; we worked together in the area of health care. And as I think back to those days, I would have never imagined you and I would be here, chatting with one another now, in this grouping of people. I think of the Masterful Weaver of us all and the pattern that He/She has put together over so many years. And how in these final days, doesn't it seem to be cinching up a bit? I thank God for those of us who have seen it for a long time—not us necessarily, but were getting influenced now. Thanks for what you said, and thanks for providing a Tone that brought some memories of dear friends who aren't with us, right here into this wonderful grouping. Great working together.
David Barnes — Stewart, you also talked about the dissolution of resistance. It's been a remarkable five weeks since our last Temple of Light service. Probably 90% of that time for me has related to allowing resistance to dissolve—to let resistance that was perceived in the heart, in consciousness, dissolve. While that work was going on, as I began to perceive what was happening—because it seemed to come in endless pulsations of resistance—I began to realize that it wasn't something that I should identify with as happening in me, and only happening in me. This was a bigger event that was going on. There was a birthing process happening. It was a bigger event and something was being birthed through me, and I was there to assist with what was attempting to get into the human world. I also began to perceive that I wasn't alone in this. Talking with other friends, I could feel that the rhythms of life were activating patterns of resistance in consciousness that needed to be freed up, let go, released, so that I could come forth—you could come forth; we could come forth in greater measure.
I love the experience that I had this morning, of the rhythms of spirit, ebbing and flowing; rising, an intensification rising—you saying something, punctuating it, releasing it, gathering it together again; then another reading, an intensification, the release of the current, feeling it in my own heart, feeling it swelling, moving with it, being deeply moved, increasingly, as I began to feel what was taking place. And there is this call that is coming continually, as you suggest we acknowledge the distinct things that we each bring. Here is a message that Stewart sent out to and through all of us, “What is the distinct thing that you bring in the rhythms of the spirit, of the creative process? And so Stewart, you came forth and brought something into the world that wasn't there before, and we all shared it. And you said, “Let's do this. Let's continue to do this together”—bring the essence out of heaven that I am, and let the essence out of the earth come, and let us meet that. Feel the resistance, experience it, let it go—release. Whatsoever ye shall release on earth, shall be released in heaven. If you're going to bind that on earth, through your resistance, it's going to be bound in your own heaven. And it won't be shared.
So these pulsations of contraction and release that occurred this morning were so beautiful to move with—culminating in the increasing silence that gathered as the spirit of Love was brought to focus at the end of what you had to say Stewart. Very strong feeling of moving in the current of the spirit of Love. It is deeply fulfilling and satisfying to do this together this morning, with the promise of love, of a greater coming forth of who I am of who we are, carrying that together, as an urging into expression through many more people in the world: “Be who you are, where you are. Come forth. Share yourself as you truly are.” The resistances are felt in the world right now—because we are coming out with a bang, with regard to everything that is holding it down. We're coming out with a bang! So people won't be able to hold on. There's going to be a letting go one way or another. I feel a tremendous letting go occurred this morning, through what has been gathering the past five weeks and the release that we shared this morning. I feel very fulfilled and thankful for what you brought us morning Stewart—and this chance we all had to be together.
Laura Fisher — Another hour of delicate beautiful substance. I too remember Lillian, and I remember her saying, “People tend to do what we do".” It went very deep into my consciousness. People tend to do what we do. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2018/11/that-which-ye-do-uranda-1938-that-which.html] In that statement is the whole responsibility we have for the rest of the world. I'm sure there are others that know this responsibility, but right now it's us that are delving into the responsibility for what other people may tend to do. When you read Isaiah, I thought, Oh I want to live there! I want to live where the mountains sing and the trees clap their hands. Let's go there! So the transition which is happening from the third dimensional reality, which most of the world are living in, to the transition into the fourth, where perhaps the mountains sing. This is my responsibility, our responsibility, and it seems to me that in this place there are many things that need to be purified—one of them is not always thinking I know what is going on. Somewhere in this Fourth Dimension is the movement of the Cosmos and the fierce power there—the magnetic fields that keep the stars separate so they don't collide, etc. And that puts my mind at ease. Never going to figure that out! So I can rest there, and perhaps I'll hear the trees clapping their hands.
Arno van Haght — Thank you Laura for that. Stewart, when we spoke earlier on in the week through an email, we shared something about the LORD of Lords, and serving in the Temple, by reason of the Presence of the Lord of the Sacred Three. Because you had surrendered yourself; and were preparing, surrendering yourself to serve. What a wonderful invitation my brother, that you spoke to the heart of the Body. In this time that we shared together the LORD was gentle with us. He was reminding us that we belong to Him. He was reminding us that He trusts us, and that He's well pleased, and glad that we are here, in the now—as was that invitation that you extended. Thank you for surrendering yourself to the degree that you did, that indeed the trees were clapping, and that the Heaven was singing. The LORD can speak through many voices, to all the parts of His Body, through all the parts of His Body, and still the One Spirit, and the One LORD of Lords shines bright.
Proud to call you my brother, and also proud to have been served by one who has let his heart be so surrendered that the LORD did speak today, and that the light did shine, and that the light is shining. And as we promised, as I promised you, we would as members of that Body as you spoke, we would turn on that light in radiant response to that which you would bring. I trust that you experienced that lifting up of that current as you blessed us with allowing the voice of the Lord to be spoken in the time that we have shared with you. Very, very appreciative of that, and thank you for everyone who let that light shine so the Lord could speak through one who had surrendered himself so beautifully to the opportunity to let the Body come into attunement with the voice of the LORD of Lords; through the presence of the Spirit of Truth surrendered to the One—Stewart in this case. Thank you.
Stewart Berger — Thank you Arno, and those before you, and everyone. It takes all of us. I invite any others who might like to speak if you anything at all that you want to say or share with us, you're welcome to do that now, even if does not relate to what we've been considering, you're welcome to bring that to us now, if anything at all is moving.
Suzanne Core — Stewart, I want to share with you the passage from the Bible that has been running through my mind these last few minutes. From Malachi: Prove me now herewith sayeth the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you a window of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing the world cannot contain it. Thank you for focusing that experience for us this morning.
Stewart Berger — Well I'm really appreciative of this time together, and all the things that all of you said. This is one way we know love, through each other. I felt it from you; it's very intimate, and as members of One Body—it is One Body, and we are connected by reason of the connective substance of Love. And so I can say to you, “I love you.” Sometimes people say “Jesus loves you” or “God is love”. But I've felt very strongly the current and spirit of Love moving in these last several weeks, love from God and for those who compose His Body —we can say the Body of those who serve the Creative Process, who know who they are and who live from the place from their true identity.
The strong spirit of Love that I've been feeling has felt like it's come from heaven, though as I say, we also make it known to each other, because we are connected and we have a part to play together. We need each other as members of the Body. We each have our distinct part to play. You have your talents. I think Daniel was mentioning that; as well as Pamela in terms of my radio career. Perhaps you find that the talents that you use in your earthly job—unless you're retired, and perhaps now that manifests in your hobbies—is related to your unique qualities as a God Being, as a Goddess Being. So I think we can say—we don't say it to everybody we meet, although it may be in our heart—as it is put, “Let love radiate, without concern for results.” That is in our hearts. But we can say, I can say, “I love you”, because I think that is what we hear the LORD saying to us. Certainly Love is most powerful in the creative process. So this has been wonderful for me, to be together with you, each of you and all of us together to let this move, to receive a current and let it move out in blessing. So thank you very much, all of you. I love you. And I look forward to our moments to come.
Steve Ventola — Stewart, thank you for all the effort, the interest, your desire, and all the pieces you put together for us today, that we may be all as one. You referenced “the power of now.” I loved Daniel's comment about the priestly functions in the midst of all that we do in the outer world. And that we acknowledge the Tribe of Us, the Tribe of Levi, the Priesthood, as one together. And you put those pieces together for each of us—you've done that. You've surrounded that. And that’s what we need to acknowledge: our priestly functions in the midst of the world, so that others do, as Laura was saying, what we do; that we set the Tone and acknowledge that. And as we do, something can go out, and this world can be ordered. We can come out of the clouds that we've been in, come out in a bang, as David was saying, in a way that actually wakes us up continually for a greater sequence of things that need to come through us. I don't know about you, but I think there's a lot of things coming through—so much so that we say, “Okay, what do we need to do right now?—referencing the power of now, what do we need to do right now? So as we enfold, and as we integrate the words that you have provided, the spirit that you have provided for us today, let's continue in sequence, in the Power of now, in the Glory of Love and letting the LORD shine into this world. So it's a pleasure to share this time altogether.
Our next Temple of Light service will be December 26th, and Carol and myself have the privilege of leading our time—which we look forward to.
